The Animal Rescue &

Rehabilitation society. (T.A.R.R.S)

The charity is based on rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, death row dogs, dogs with behavioural problems and occasionally dogs from the public.  Currently I have limited space and time so it will take a while to build up the money to take in more dogs.  If you feel you can help by raising money (even if it is just £1.00) Please get in touch on the contact page.  Blankets, collars, leads, harnesses, halti's are always useful if you have old ones or not in use any more.  I hope to help more dogs like Jack, the GSD who was on death row and head shy, the puppies who were abandoned and no-one would take them in and the wonderful Troy, who has not had the best start in life and Smiler the Bulldog who no other charity would take in.

This is Dash, he is a white GSD neutered male, 5-6 years old and has been vaccinated and microchipped.  Dash was mistreated by his first owner before building a bond with his current owner, but unfortunately due to work commitments over seas had to be signed over to T.A.R.R.S to be rehomed.  Dash has now been with T.A.R.R.S for about 6 months now and gets quite overlooked due to his long coat which needs regular grooming.  Dash is a wonderful affectionate dog who is housetrained, good with people, good on and off the lead and knows his basic commands.  He is nervous aggressive with other dogs and is sometimes quite anxious.  He would be suited to a quiet household where he can enjoy lots of TLC and get plenty of walks.

This is Paddy, he is a 8-9 year old GSD and was saved from death row at a stray dog kennels.  He is good with people but can becomes stressed when told to do something.  The problem is currently being worked on with encouragement and security.  In the last kennels he did pull his furr out so he is currently on medication to clear that up, otherwise he is as fit as a fiddle.  Please don't let his age put you off, he is wonderful!

This is Maxwell, a male Rottweiler.  He came in as a stray but his microchip has not been updated so his owners cannot be found.  He is a wonderful, cuddly, handsome man who is not good with dogs or cats but is friendly towards people.  If you would like to offer this gent a home, please get in touch.

T.A.R.R.S is looking for anyone who can donate some cat food for the ferel cats that have been neutered and taken back to their original environment. Collections in Stratford and Rugby are available now, please contact if you live further afield and a collection can be arranged.  Please get in touch if you can help.

This is Kelsy, she is a medium sized female husky type dog.  She is about 13 months old and is very friendly.  She does not have alot of socialisation skills, but she is a quick learner.  She is currently walked on a harness as she likes to pull and always has her nose to the ground.  Kelsy would be suited to an active home where she could get plenty of mental and physical exercise or else she will become very bored and start to howl.  If you are interested in Kelsy please contact me.
